12Free Streaming Radio & Shuffle Play a folder on your PC ! Here a brief tour about the programs. 
On the left side is your preset radiokeys. There is a RECORD key to open a 12Free Wave Recorder On the right side is your folders with Music ! The Wave Recorder can record what you listen on the web radio. Or other sound source you may be listening to. 
You can name and save the Wave file in the folder of the recorder. Later you may choose to encode the file to MP3 or FLAC format. The MP3 encoder use LAME ( open source ). 
Yoo can choose different quality of the MP3. Or you can insert your cohoice of LAME code. FLAC is a new no loss compression format. 
Yoo can choose different size of the FLAC file. Smaller size take longer time to encode. If you use Windows 7 or higher you may need to activate Stero Mix. 
In the control panel you choose SOUND and RECORDING. If you use XP you may also need to activate Stereo Mix. 
You need to open the file SNDVOL.EXE. It is included in the ZIP package for 12Free Radio. |
